The food industry is confronted by especially rigorous hygiene requirements. This applies, not least, to the manufacture and handling of food packaging. Fiskeby has always been at the forefront of product security. We have long been certified for compliance with ISO 9000 (quality) and with ISO 14000 (environment).

Now we are also certified for compliance with BRC-IOP!

This standard has been prepared by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and the Institute of Packaging (IoP) and has made a powerful international impact. Its purpose is to assist manufacturers and distributors of packaging materials for food and other sensitive products such as medicines, to maintain a system for ensuring that packaging provides necessary product security, quality and compliance with the law. This standard covers systems for risk analysis, technical control, plant requirements, prevention of contamination, personnel etc.

Our raw material supplier is ISO certified, which makes the raw material traceable. This means that we assume guaranteed responsibility for our part of the production chain: we meet the highest present day demands for hygiene and product security.
